No. CaptainXI is a tool for organisers. Players pay the registration fee set by you (the organiser), not to CaptainXI. Viewers watch scorecards for free. Our plans are only for the person running the tournament.

Automatically! When all group matches are scored, CaptainXI reads the points table and fills "1st A vs 2nd B" with actual team names. After Semi Finals are scored, the Final gets filled with winners. No manual work needed.

Just like the IPL! Orange Cap goes to the tournament's highest run scorer, Purple Cap to the highest wicket taker. These update automatically after every scored match and show on the standings page.

NRR = (Runs scored / Overs faced) − (Runs conceded / Overs bowled). CaptainXI calculates this automatically for every team after each match. Teams with equal points are ranked by NRR — just like professional cricket.

Yes. If your squad size is 11, up to 15 players can register per team (11 + 4 substitutes). The summary shows "13/11 +2 sub" so you know which teams have extras.

The organiser controls the auction from their device. Each captain joins via a unique bidder link on their phone with OTP verification. Players come up one by one — captains tap to bid in real-time. Going Once → Going Twice → SOLD! Complete with countdown timers, just like the IPL.

Share the bidder link via WhatsApp. Captains open it, enter their registered mobile number, verify with OTP (MSG91), and they're in. Each captain sees their budget, team roster, and can bid with one tap.

Open the hamburger menu (☰) on your dashboard → scroll to "Account Settings" → tap Change Name, Change Photo, Change Password, Update Email, or Update Mobile. Changes take effect immediately.

Yes! Your dashboard shows all tournaments organized in Ongoing, Upcoming, and Completed tabs. Switch between Tournaments, Matches, and Auctions using the top tabs. Each tournament card shows match progress, score buttons, and quick links.

Search any player by name or mobile number to see their career stats — runs, wickets, matches played, auction history, and certificates across all tournaments on CaptainXI. Every player's mobile number is their permanent identity.
